Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
WatchCron is operated by Vitalii Holben. By accessing or using the WatchCron platform you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
WatchCron provides cron job monitoring, heartbeat checks, and scheduled-task alerting. Your applications send HTTP pings to unique endpoints; if an expected ping is not received within the configured grace period, we notify you through your chosen channels (email, Slack, Telegram, webhooks, and others).
3. Account Registration
You must supply accurate and current information when creating an account. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Plans and Pricing
WatchCron offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual cycle through our merchant of record, Paddle. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with at least 30 days' prior notice. Price changes do not affect your current billing cycle.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. After cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
- Deliberately overload, disrupt, or interfere with the platform's infrastructure.
- Attempt to access another user's account, data, or API keys without authorization.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the service.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute WatchCron functionality without written consent.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
7. API Keys and Security
API keys grant programmatic access to your monitoring data. Keep them confidential and rotate them if you suspect a compromise. You are responsible for all requests made with your keys.
8. Intellectual Property
All rights in the WatchCron name, logo, design, and underlying software remain with Vitalii Holben. You retain full ownership of the data you submit through the service.
9. Service Availability
We make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain high availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen technical events may cause temporary downtime. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions or delayed notifications.
10. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. In no event shall WatchCron or its operator be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees you paid during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Data Ownership and Portability
Your monitoring data belongs to you. We will not share it with third parties except as necessary to deliver the service. You may export your data at any time from the dashboard.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If no resolution is reached, the dispute will be governed by the laws of Ukraine.
